Labor Day Weekend, September 2-5, 2016
Abode of the Message, New Lebanon, New York
Please join us for a three-day silent retreat, based in the teachings of the Sufi master, Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927). Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, Hazrat Inayat Khan’s grandson and the primary teacher of the Inayati Order, will guide our retreat, leading us into silence and an exploration of the inner life. This year, Pir Zia will be accompanied by Inayati faculty Aziza Scott, Khabira Brown and Yaqin Aubert.
This particular retreat will be held at the Abode of the Message in New Lebanon, New York, on the outskirts of the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts. We will gather daily in the Abode’s beautiful Meditation Hall, with time allowed for walking and contemplation in the Abode gardens, woods, and the trails of Mount Lebanon. Three vegetarian meals will be served each day, further supporting our retreat practice.
