Sufi Celebration at Omega Institute
June 2-4, 2017

Come celebrate the language of the soul and the divinity within all creation. Sing, dance, and immerse yourself in the spiritual rapture of Sufi rhythms and chants.

As a practice of direct experience, Sufism cultivates a compassionate heart and deepens awareness through prayer, meditation, music, dance, poetry, and spiritual inquiry. This weekend, enjoy inspiring musical performances by Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Baraka Moon, Youssoupha Sidibe, and HuDost. The Sufi Celebration also includes talks by Pir Zia Inayat Khan (spiritual leader of the Inayati Order and son of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan), Pir Shabda Kahn (the lineage holder of the Sufi Ruhaniat International), and Tamam Kahn (poet, lecturer, and author).

Four decades ago, Omega’s cofounders were inspired by Sufi teacher Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and the Sufi principle of accepting all paths that lead to divine unfoldment. Celebrate this inspiring tradition with us!
