THE MESSAGE WHassan812BITH SUHRAWARDI GEBEL
Part of our Sufi Message Online Series
Thursdays, April 28 through May 26, 2016

At particular times in the evolution of human awareness, when the cries of humanity rose to a certain pitch, a prophetic response came as a Message, a reminder of inborn knowledge that had been forgotten.

We are in the midst of another turning point in the evolution of human consciousness. The cries of humanity are painfully apparent. Once again a Message is coming. As the Sufi mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882-1927) pointed out, it is something better felt than explained. And yet with metaphors and ringing phrases, Inayat Khan stimulated that innate knowledge whose time has come for widespread realization.

In this series of five classes, we will explore the culture of the Message and inquire into what our role might be in its incubation. The themes of the five classes are:

Thursday, April 28, 7-8 pm EDT
What is the Message?

Thursday, May 5, 7-8 pm EDT
The Message Has Come Again and Again

Thursday, May 12, 7-8 pm EDT
The Message in Our Time

Thursday, May 19, 7-8 pm EDT

Thursday, May 26, 7-8 pm EDT

His life has been blessed by friendship with many students of Sufism, and other spiritual traditions, from around the world. As an Inayati Order spiritual and retreat guide, mentor, center leader, Cherag (minister of the Universal Worship), and Secretary General of the Order (2004-2010) he has learned about faith in the Unseen.
