Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are active in Richmond and are often to best option to get around if you are going longer distances. There are also taxi services, such as Henrico Taxi.

Parking

Free and metered street parking is available in the blocks nearby the Astana. For metered parking, please note that the meters often require coins or mobile payment via the Passport app. Parking is often abundant and free after 6 pm daily and on Sundays.

There are also many inexpensive lots within walking distance of the Astana, as well as an underground parking deck at the Holiday Inn Express across the street. Many of these lots accept cash or credit cards.

Flights

If you plan to fly into Richmond, we highly recommend you fly into Richmond International Airport. It’s an easy 20-minute drive to the Astana and is far less complicated than flying into Washington, DC airports.

There are direct flights available from many major airports, including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Denver, Dallas, Detroit, Newark, Houston, Jacksonville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, and St. Petersburg.

Train
